Scrapbooking in the Pines
Retreat Center

Covid Update
Due to the Covid Virus we are requiring a minimum of 3 guest's booking a weekend stay.

Scrapbooking in the Pines Retreat Center is the perfect place to get away from it all and spend some quality time scrapbooking, stamping, quilting, or crafting with friends or family.

At our retreat center, we rent out a bed and table instead of the entire retreat. It makes it economical for all sizes of groups to come in for a little respite. Most of our weekend booking dates are filled with multiple groups of crafting friends. It’s a great way to meet new people with the same passion for crafting. With your reservation, you get a bed, use of linens, closet, a 30” x 60” table, craft mat, light, and electricity. Along with use of the kitchen, locker room and bathrooms; we also have complimentary DVD player, scrapbooking tools, computer and WiFi.
As always, please be considerate of your fellow retreater and be ready to make new friends! We love hearing stories of building lifelong friendships in our retreat center. If, by chance, you run into guest issues that need to be brought to our attention, please reach out to
We look forward to hosting your retreat event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the retreat stay include food?
No, you will be responsible for all of your own food. Our town does have many eating establishments as well!

Can I check in after 5 PM?
Yes, but please give us a call between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM so we can get you the door code for entry.

What is the bedroom setup?
We have two twin beds and two free standing closets in each room.

Do you have a full size stove?
No, we do not have full-size stove in the retreat center. We do have a convection microwave instead of an oven, as well as a hot plate with two burners.

Why are there no windows in the retreat center?
Unfortunately, we did not have the adequate easement on our property to put windows in the retreat center. Because we have no windows, we were required to put in a fire sprinkler system into the entire building to ensure the safety of our guests in the unlikely event of a fire. The lack of windows also makes it that much easier to get lost in your crafting without the worry of what time of day it is! We also get very little outdoor noise with the lack of windows. And you can always wander up into the store between 10-5 to gaze out the very large store windows!

Do you supply linens?
Yes, we do supply bed linens and towels during your stay.

Can we book just one night?
(Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are currently booking Friday/Saturday nights stay with the option of adding Thursday night as well as Wednesday night with your weekend stay.)

Can we drink alcohol in the retreat center?
Yes, you can bring and consume your own alcohol. However, we do ask that you drink in moderation and be considerate of others around you as to not disturb the guests staying with you. Guests that fail to follow the guidelines of alcohol consumption may be asked to leave and forfeit their stay money. They may also be banned from returning to Scrapbooking in the Pines in the future. There are hotels in the area for a night out on the town, please look into those if that’s your intent. Your fellow retreaters will thank you.

What is the minimum age for staying at the retreat center?
Our minimum age is 16 to stay at the retreat

Where do we park? Can we park on the street?
