So, I have been avoiding this email since Governor Walz announced small businesses could open at 50% capacity.
I hope you know that we miss seeing your happy faces everyday. I miss the bustle in the store, the laughing and hugs.
Our family has been working super hard at social distancing this entire time we've had the stay at home order in Minnesota. I miss my weekly date/shopping dates with my husband. I miss the shopping trips and coffee stops with my kids. I miss hugging my adorable grandsons. I miss hanging out with my family at museums and the like.
But, to be perfectly honest, I am not ready to go back to the way it used to be. I don't think I have the capability to keep my customers, staff or ourselves safe. As far as I am concerned, everything I sell isn't worth risking your life or our lives for. We are perfectly capable to serve our customers from our online store.
The store is falling short each week, but with deferrals and holding off on paying property tax it should get us by for a couple more weeks. We have decided to wait and reevaluate May 30th with a projected date to reopen as June 1st. But time will tell. If cases keep climbing and the death toll stays where it is, I won't risk your life or ours.

Online Ordering
Our online store is ever changing. Our pre-order page has been a huge hit, and we will be adding new products there this week. Orders from some manufacturers have been taking longer, and we have been seeing backorders on items that we don't normally see. I am assuming it is from all the shut downs across the world. Everything we receive goes on our online store so keep checking; I'm sure you will find something you will love!
